With over 25 years in the industry, Mel has spent the past few decades learning and fine tuning her cut and coloring techniques. Her energetic, high-spirited and vivacious personality adds to her guest’s experience in her chair, which can include a good laugh or her own version of a therapy session.

Mel’s artistic nature comes alive with her cut and coloring skills. From long layers to short, sassy cuts, she’ll give you a cut that takes minimal effort to style on a daily basis while still looking fabulous. And, when it comes to coloring, her custom color creations will create a unique color just for you, whether her guests want a balayage, lived-in look, or dramatic color transformations

As a former educator at the Aveda Institute, she also loves mentoring new stylists. “Nothing lights me up more than seeing the next generation of stylists thrive! But my true love is being behind the chair.”

When she’s in the salon, Mel loves spending time with her 2 kids and her 3 fur babies, finding new places to eat, and spending time at home or a ball field.
